We are grateful at First United Methodist Church for our permanent endowment, which supports ministries that carry out the mission of the church both within our congregation and throughout Rutherford County. In 2026, endowment funds within the church were used for facility repairs, college outreach, community meals, mission work, and technology upgrades, and supported community partners including the 096 Prison Chaplaincy Ministry, BSA Troop 129, Chase Corner Ministries, MawMaw’s Cheer, New Beginnings Soup Kitchen, Jericho Road Soup Kitchen, South Mountain Christian Camp, Washburn Community Outreach Center, RCS Education Foundation, and others.
